Another big spike in the number of active cases of COVID-19 in the region.
There were a total of 126 new cases Friday.
The Sioux Lookout Health Hub has 80, followed by Kenora with 32, five each in the Dryden and Fort Frances area, two in Rainy River and one in the Red Lake and Atikokan Health Hubs.

There are now 13 COVID-related deaths and the number of hospitalizations went up by one to 6.
Active positives also went up from 439 to 518 cases.
The Sioux Lookout Health Hub leads the region with 226 cases, followed by Kenora with 205.
Dryden is next at 30 and Fort Frances has 23.
The Red Lake area has 18. (Other: Atikokan 7, Emo 5 and Rainy River 4)
The Thunder Bay district also saw a big jump in numbers with 161 new positives.
There are now 265 actives.
Ontario recorded its highest number of hospitalizations since the start of the pandemic with 2,472 admissions.
There were 2,360 new cases.
