The provincial government has reached a tentative three year deal with the Ontario Public Service Employees Union.
Terms of the agreement have not been released as both sides need to ratify it over the next few weeks.
The union represents nearly 25,500 Ontario Public Service employees including conservation officers, enforcement officers, courthouse staff, frontline employees at ServiceOntario, fire investigators, agricultural officers, pilots, psychologists, and IT systems officers.
The previous contract expired on December 31.
Provincial officials say the government remains at the bargaining table with OPSEU’s Correctional negotiating unit.
