Area residents were certainly in the spirit of giving before the holiday break to support those in the need.
The Dryden Food Bank is thanking everyone for their monetary and food donations.
Members of the Dryden Ski Club dropped off $1,650 from a fundraising Ski-Swap.
The Dryden Masons was able to hand over $1,000 and some tasty treats from their Christmas Cake sale.
Members of the Dryden Paper Kings Under-15 team collected 98 pounds of food.
The Food Bank was also on the receiving end of $6,000 from the CP Holiday Train Virtual concert.
Several businesses also made donations.
The Food Bank was able to distribute 119 Hampers to families this past Christmas.
