Irvin James Adams

March 12th 1956 – December 31st 2021.
Irvin was predeceased by his wife Linda Adams, his mother Rosemary Delyea, and father Alphonse. His grandfather Joe and grandmother Laura Napish and sister Jacqueline McCorriston.
He was survived by his children Jennifer, Stephanie (Travis), Christopher (Melissa), and O’Hara. His grandchildren Sheldon (Connor), Juanita, Raylene, Kristen (Wade), Keegan, Teegan, Carson, Mason, Graydon, and Linden. The joys of his life, his great grandchildren Kane, Audi and Malcolm.
His siblings Lucille (Gaylin), David, Grant (April), Gerry (Harold), Treena (Mark) and also numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Irvin was a hard worker with an amazing heart and resided his entire life in this area. The majority of his work life was in the bush, on the machine or guiding on Eagle Lake. Most recently working at Emcon to ensue that our roads were safe.
He made many friends over the years and continued to connect with them when he could.
Irvin had a deep love for fishing and hunting, he spent a lot of time on the land or on the water showing his son all the secret spots.
In early years Irvin spent many days and evenings watching his son Christopher “Gretsky” play hockey, which later lead to spending time at the rink with his grandson Sheldon.
He enjoyed netting and hunting, he worked hard to be able to provide for his family with fall harvest.
He missed his wife Linda and will be so glad to be reunited with her.
His humor and compassion will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 5, 2021, from 12 p.m. until time of service at the Eagle Lake Community Hall.
A Traditional Service will take place on Friday, January 7, 2021, at 10 a.m. at the Eagle Lake Community Hall with Elder Ron Mandamin officiating.
Interment will follow in the Migisi Sahgaigan First Nation cemetery.
