Gervaise Patrick Burry
September 13, 1946 – December 30, 2021
In loving memory of Gervaise Patrick Burry who passed peacefully at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. He was born in Boyd’s Cove NL and eventually made his way to Dryden ON, where he started a decade’s long career at the Dryden Pulp and Paper Mill. Gervaise enjoyed his time volunteering, socializing and playing cards at the Dryden Legion as well as the Dryden Go-Getters. Those who knew him well knew of his very big heart and did not hesitate to help out any way he could.
Gervaise is survived by his wife Phyllis, daughter Nicole (Adam) Larocque, his grandson who was very dear to his heart Price, and his favourite dog Captain. He is also survived by his brother Bill (Fran) Burry as well as numerous nephews and cousins.
Gervaise was predeceased by his parents Edmund and Gertrude Burry.
Cremation has taken place. As Gervaise wishes, no service will be held.
