The Dryden Native Friendship is protecting their staff and the vulnerable population they serve in the wake of increased COVID-19 activity and the Omicron variant in the community.
Programming is now suspended and the building is closed to the public until at least January 17.
Officials say many DNFC clients are seniors and vulnerable population with underlying health issues.
Limited services are available including:
- Lunch served via pick up window during a specific timeframe
- Phone check ins by program coordinators
- Urgent transportation for medical only as arranged by program coordinators, if available
- Virtual programming will continue

Measures may be extended and further information about programming will be made public in January 2022.
