Skaters return to the ice tomorrow night at the Dryden Memorial Arena.
The Ice Show is back after a year hiatus due to COVID-19.
Karen Kudlacek with the Dryden Skating Club was a guest on the CKDR morning show and tells us it’s the perfect way to get in the festive spirit.
“The club is really, really excited to get back on the ice and to be able to perform for everyone again and this year we’re performing ‘Skating in a Winter Wonderland’ Friday night (December 17) at 6:30, doors open at 5:45.”
Kudlacek adds there’s one more opportunity tonight (Thursday December 16) to get your tickets early.
“The executive will be at the arena from 5:30-6:30pm. Advance tickets are 10 dollars for those 12 years and up. Tickets will be available on show night, five dollars for those five years and up and 12 dollars for 12 years and up.”
Star Skater Maddie Iwanyk tells us what you can expect.
“You’ll see solos and line numbers from our star skaters, as well as our junior star skaters and can skaters.”
Star Skater Brianne Kudlacek adds, “Our club has been working very hard since the beginning of the season to put together our solos and line numbers, as well our coaches work very hard choreographing them to get them together for the show.”
Showtime is 6:30pm with doors open at 5:45pm.
Masks are required and proof of double COVID-19 vaccination for those 12 and up.
