COVID case numbers continue to climb in the Northwestern Health Unit catchment area.
There were 10 new positives Wednesday.
Six were in the District of Rainy River area, three were in the Kenora region and one was in the Dryden/Red Lake reporting area.
There are now 36 active cases.
Eighteen are in the Rainy River district, 10 in the Kenora area, five in Sioux Lookout and three in Dryden/Red Lake.
The Thunder Bay District has nine new reports and 66 active cases.
Ontario recorded its highest total since May 21 with 1,808 positives.
