The Red Lake Miners offence broke out in the third period as they skated away with a 5-2 win over visiting Fort Frances Saturday.
The Miners were up 2-1 going into the third, when Ethan Pool, Alim Darmenov and Tyson Mallet broke out.
It was the first SIJHL goal for Mallet.
Ryan Hunter and Brady Harroun scored in the second after a scoreless first period.
