Tbaytel is looking to do its part to help address the critical need for doctors in northern Ontario.
They are partnering with the Northern Ontario School of Medicine to introduce the new Tbaytel Entrance Award Fund.
The company will match every dollar donated, up to $10,000, to the scholarship program.
President and CEO Dan Topatigh says it is crucial that they find ways to support medical students in the region and encourage them to become a doctor in northern Ontario.
NOSM is hoping to raise $30,000 for the fund per year to award to three students from northern Ontario with a $10,000 grant every year.
