Environment Canada has upgraded their Special Weather Statement to a Winter Weather Travel Advisory for the Sioux Lookout, Red Lake and Ear Falls areas.
Snow is excepted to continue into the evening with strong winds resulting in blowing snow.
Snow possibly mixed with ice pellets will continue this afternoon before transitioning to snow tonight.
Total snowfall amounts up to 10 centimetres are possible by the evening with the heaviest snow expected during the evening hours.
Flurries will continue through Wednesday.
Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather and drivers should prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
