Area roads have reopened but lengthy delays are expected and caution is urged.
Traffic has started moving slowly on Highway 17 and the Trans-Canada has completely reopened from the Manitoba/Ontario boundary to Thunder Bay.
Highway 502 from Dryden to Fort Frances has reopened.
Highway 11 at the 11-17 junction at Shabaqua has reopened.
Highway 71 from Kenora to Fort Frances has reopened.
Driving conditions on other roads and highways are poor and travel is not recommended.
Downed trees have also impeded travel on some roads including Highway 601.
The Winter Storm Warning remains in effect.
