The region now has five active cases of COVID-19.
The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting two new cases Wednesday with one in the Dryden-Red Lake area and the other in the Sioux Lookout area.
All other active cases are in the Dryden-Red Lake area.
Meanwhile the Thunder Bay District also has two new cases putting their active count at 21.
Ontario recorded 454 new cases with 249 in individuals who are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status.
