The number of active COVID cases in the region is now down to three.
They all come from the Dryden/Red Lake reporting area, following one new positive Tuesday.
The region’s Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Kit Young Hoon says locally they have recorded 1,200 cases since the start of the pandemic.
She notes 89.5% of those over the age of 12 have at least one dose of the vaccine, while 84.1% have had both shots.
Health officials in Thunder Bay are reporting 20 active cases.
Ontario recorded 441 new cases today and three more COVID-related deaths.
