Another tough and close loss for the Dryden GM Ice Dogs against the Kam River Fighting Walleye.
The Ice Dogs dropped a 3-2 decision on the road Saturday.
Derek Koivisto found the back of the net for Dryden GM, while Jackson Jacques recorded his first goal of the SIJHL season.
Jordan Belley was once again solid making 38 saves, while the Ice Dogs recorded 44 shots on Eric Vanska.
In Red Lake, the Miners easily completed a two game series sweep against the Thunder Bay North Stars with an 8-1 win.
The Miners scored five times in the second period to put the game away.
Ryan Hunter led the way with 2 goals and 3 assists.
Other goal scorers included Kenyon Nyman, Noah Kramps, Nic Bolin, Treston Moisey, Ryan Howe and Brady Harroun.
Kiev Kineshanko stopped 21 shots for the victory.
In other action, the Wisconsin Lumberjacks outlasted Thief River Falls 5-3 for a two game sweep.
