Two men from British Columbia are being returned to northwestern Ontario to face drug trafficking charges.
Provincial Police say 34 year old Theadore Muri from Little Fort and 35 year old Rick Rodriguez from Clearwater have been arrested as part of the RCMP’s Fugitive Return Program.
The British Columbia Sheriff Service was also involved in securing the return of the duo.
OPP say Muri and Rodriguez were initially charged in October 2018 due to a traffic complaint in the Ignace area.
Upon further investigation a number of drug trafficking charges were also laid.
They remain in police custody and will appear in Kenora Court to answer the charges.
