Two community Peacekeepers in Pikangikum have been recognized.
Coren Strang and Norman Turtle have received Commissioners Letters of appreciation.
The honour is for their quick and decisive actions in saving the life of an individual from an incident in 2020.
Acting Inspector of the Red Lake Detachment Matt Norlock recently made the presentation.
Norlock also presented Peggy Watson with a new Sergeant’s badge and she will be working out of the Pikangikum Detachment.
