Fully vaccinated travellers won’t need a negative COVID-19 test to enter the US.
Land borders and ferry terminals are set to reopen Nov. 8.
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro N. Mayorkas has announced the updated rules for non-essential travellers.
“We are pleased to take another step toward easing travel restrictions at our borders in a manner that strengthens our economy and protects the health and safety of the American public,” he said.
You will have to prove you’ve had two shots of vaccine to come into the United States.
The border was closed to non-essential travel early in the early days of the pandemic, in March 2020.
