A new Dryden area group has been formed opposed to the proposed transportation and storage of nuclear waste in the Ignace area.
Sunset Country Spirit Alliance is hosting a Town Hall meeting next Wednesday.
It’s being held at the St. Luke Anglican Church Hall from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The Alliance says they plan to have regular meetings to offer information from experts and scientists.
Officials are concerned with the potential impact on local watersheds.
