Club Franco-Boreal has officially launched in Sunset Country.
President Daniel Mpemba says the goal is to connect with each other and to have different kind of events and activities to help Francophone’s feel more comfortable and socialize in their home communities.
Mpemba says the club is open to everyone and all ages.
“If you do speak English and you would like to know more about French, its also a club for you. You don’t need to be a Francophone to participate and to join. We can connect you with someone in your region.”
The club covers Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Vermilion Bay and Kenora.
