There’s a new face at the head of the Dryden Public Library.
Caroline Goulding is now in the role of CEO/Chief Librarian.
Goulding says she is very passionate about libraries and the role they play in building and strengthening the community.
She has lived in Dryden for two years and was previously working for Patricia Area Community Endeavours.
Before that, Goulding was the CEO of the Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre.
She has a Masters degree in Library and Information Studies from McGill University.
Councillor Norm Bush believes she is the perfect person for the job.
“With your passion I’m sure you’ll continue to move the library forward. It’s a great place. Basically a huge asset for the City and very much looking forward to seeing how it’s going to continue to progress under your leadership.”
Goulding replaces Dayna DeBenedet, who left earlier this year for a job in southern Ontario.
