The Dryden Eagles Senior Girls Basketball team continue their impressive play this season.
The Eagles downed the visiting Ignace Falcons Wednesday 50-25.
Ignace was only able to dress five players but stayed with the ‘Blue and Gold’ in the first thanks to Kristin March with four points.
Kaitlyn Viherjoki countered with six giving Dryden a 10-6 lead.
The Falcons eventually wore down after competing hard throughout the contest.
Eight different Eagles scored in the game with Viherjoki finishing with 16 points and Fiona Cook 14.
Ignace was led by Sydney Cloutier with 13 points while Marsh drained 2 three pointers on her way to 12 points overall.
It was a split in Boys Volleyball.
Ignace defeated Dryden in Junior play in straight sets (25-20, 25-15, 25-14).
The Eagles prevailed at the Senior level with a 3 sets win. (25-20, 25-20, 25-21)
Dryden travels to Sioux Lookout Thursday.
