The Dryden GM Ice Dogs have a chance to gain some ground on the second place Red Lake Miners Wednesday night.
The Ice Dogs are on the road for a date with the struggling Fort Frances Lakers.
The Lakers are winless in six and have been outscored 35-9.
This is the third meeting between the two teams.
Dryden GM won the opener 4-0 at home, while downing the Lakers 9-2 on the road.
The third place Ice Dogs are four points behind the idle Miners.
Game time is 7:30 at the Ice for Kids Arena.
