The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting one new COVID positive Tuesday and five active cases.
Four are from the Rainy River District and one is from the Sioux Lookout region.
Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kit Young Hoon says vaccination coverage rates continue to rise.
She notes 88.1% of residents have received at least one dose, while 81.7% have received two doses.
Dr. Young Hoon says mass immunization clinics will resume again early next month.
“These clinics will be for COVID-19 vaccine, including third doses for those eligible, and for flu vaccine.”
She says information on who is eligible for a third coronavirus shot can be found at Northwestern Health Unit Booking Information Page
