St. John School in Red Lake has exceeded their enrolment projections this year.
The Kenora Catholic District School Board was predicting 124 students but is now reporting 137 students in the classroom.
“Total enrolment for last school year was 1,292. In the Spring when we did our projections we projected 1,326,” says Alison Smith, Superintendent of Business. “As of September, our current enrolment is 1,343. So overall our enrollment is up 51 students from last school year.”
Smith notes only 11 students are taking part in virtual learning.
