Staff and workers at the Lac des Iles Mine will soon have to be fully vaccinated to access the job site.
The requirement for all individuals at the mine comes into effect November 2.
Impala Canada states those with medical or legally qualified exemptions will be accommodated on a case-by-case basis.
The company had directed individuals to have their first shot by September 21, which allows for a second shot to be received by October 19, reaching full vaccination status two weeks later.
The LDI mine says 91% of their workforce have received at least one dose of the COVID vaccine, while 85% of team members have both doses.
As an incentive to get fully vaccinated, Impala has committed to deliver up to $37,500 in prizes to crew members.
