A tough start to the season for the Kenora ‘AAA’ Under-18 Thistles.
The Thistles dropped their first two games of the season to the Brandon Wheat Kings on the weekend in Keewatin.
Kenora lost the opener 9-0, while suffering a 6-2 set back on Sunday.
The local players from Dryden, Sioux Lookout and Red Lake were held off the score sheet.
The Thistles return to the ice October 2 against Yellowhead at the Kenora Rec. Centre.
