Provincial Police have made an arrest following a serious assault in downtown Kenora.
The incident happed on the weekend on Main Street.
Emergency personnel arrived and found an injured 66 year old.
The individual was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries and the victim was airlifted to Winnipeg for additional treatment.
OPP later located and arrested 43 year old Shawn McLeod.
The Fort Frances resident has been charged with aggravated assault.
The investigation is on-going.
