Tracy was raised in Ear Falls, Ontario. She lived most of her adult life in Kenora, until relocating to Balmertown in 2017. Tracy was filled with a wonderful energy that spread her warmth, spirit, and kindness to everyone she met. She had a unique passion for life that was contagious to all those around her. She always had a happy-go-lucky attitude, so it was no surprise that she made friends everywhere she went.
Tracy loved and cherished her children and grandchildren. When she met Kevin, she immediately welcomed his family into her life, and loved and cherished them all as her own. She was incredibly proud of her family and unwavering in her support for them. Tracy also had a special place in her heart for all of her friends and the many treasured friendships she made throughout the years.
Tracy was happiest when she was out at camp, with a Caesar in her hand, dancing on the tables around the fire; Or, being outdoors with Kevin, hunting and fishing. She had an extraordinary work ethic and an untiring drive to ensure her family was always provided for. She was sharp, resilient, and strong, but above all else, she was relentlessly generous and kind. She was always willing to help anyone in need, no matter how out of her way it was. When you were with Tracy, you always felt welcomed, accepted, and loved—she made everything feel like home. The positive impact she left on everyone’s lives is immeasurable. She will be truly missed.
The family would like to pay a special thank you to the care and dedication of the health care workers from the Red Lake & Thunder Bay Hospitals and from the Home Care Program. They helped make one of Tracy’s last wishes possible.
A public celebration of Tracy’s life will be held on Friday, September 24 at 1 pm in the Ear Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Memory in Miles or Muscular Dystrophy Canada through the Red Lake Chapel, Box 237, Red Lake, ON P0V 2M0.
