A return to in-person learning at Confederation College is being well received.
Richard Gemmill is the Vice President of Academic and says, “Lot’s of excited students. You know they are excited to be back on campus which is great. We’re excited to have more people on campus. It’s been a long summer of some empty hallways. So, the fall, having everybody back is a really great feeling.”
Gemmill notes faculty are also excited to be back on campus.
“It’s been a long 18 months for them too. A lot of them have been teaching online. We’ve had face-to-face programming since the beginning but that was relatively a small proportion. So, many of the faculty are getting back to their campuses for the first time in like a year.”
The Thunder Bay campus currently has a walk-in COVID-19 vaccine clinic for students still needing their shots.
