The Green candidate in the Kenora riding says it’s all about the future and ensuring our kids are set-up to flourish.
Remi Rheault says he’s passionate about a better tomorrow for our future leaders.
The 59-year-old Kenora resident says he is running a campaign that aligns with his traditional teachings.
“When you really look at values from the first people of Turtle Island and the values of the Green party, they really do mesh very well. I can see a huge relationship being built.”
Rheault says he’s been following the party and its policies since they started.
“They fall in line with what I believe. That the future belongs to the kids. We need to leave something behind for them. We have to have a legacy that we can be behind.”
Rheault stresses it’s all about how we manage and be good stewards of what’s given to us.
He says creating jobs, housing and saving the environment are his main campaign priorities.
Rheault stresses he will fight tooth and nail on those issues if elected.
He adds he’s always put people before profit, stating people have a chance if we give them a chance.
Rheault owns a successful green tech and housing business and has previous political experience with all federal parties.
