The slate of candidates is now set for the Kenora riding for the September 20 Federal election.
Lawyer Janine Seymour of Rat Portage First Nation is the NDP selection.
Her past work includes time as a political advisor for Grand Chief of Treaty 3 Francis Kavanaugh as well as a founding member of Reconciliation Kenora.
Seymour’s diverse background includes her community involvement as a board member of Sunset Country Family Health Team and Waasegiizhig Nanaandawe’iyewigaming.
She joins Conservative incumbent Eric Melillo, Liberal David Bruno, and Remi Rheault of the Green party.
