Premier Doug Ford has confirmed a back-to-school plan will be released early next week.
Ford says Education Minister Stephen Lecce and Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kieran Moore are finalizing their plan.
“We’re going to make sure the kids are going back to school in September. They’re going to be in class, I want to repeat that, they’re going back. Even if I have to hop on in that school bus and drive them myself. The kids are going to school and it’s going to be a great comprehensive plan.”
Ford says he thinks students in Ontario need to get back to school and want to get back to school.
He notes there will be increased safety protocols in place with a focus on ventilation.
