New temperature records in four local communities Sunday.
Bill Laidlaw of Signal Weather Services says Atikokan hit 33.3 degrees, eclipsing the old mark of 30.9 in 2020.
Dryden reached 32.7, breaking the old record of 31.8 in 2011.
Ear Falls recorded a high of 32.7, surpassing the old mark of 30.9 set in 2011.
Thunder Bay reached 32.6, beating the old record of 32.4 set in 1986.
