Some reservations looking ahead Friday to Step 3 of reopening.
Charla Robinson is with the Northwestern Ontario Associated Chambers of Commerce and says it will be good for businesses to welcome more customers, but we need to be cautious to be able to get back to normal.
“We know that we haven’t yet reached the level of vaccinations that is needed to make sure we’re all safe. So, we all need to be diligent and then that will help keep our local businesses open in the long term. If we can keep our local case numbers down.”
Robinson says we aren’t out of the woods yet but it’s nice to see a light at the end of the tunnel.
She also admits this is not the end of the recovery from the pandemic and businesses will still need government support.
