The City of Dryden continues act as a transportation hub for fire evacuees across the region.
Officials say some 177 evacuees were moved in and out of the airport Tuesday and relocated to other hosting locations in the province.
Chief Administrative Officer Roger Nesbitt says they are working with Independent First Nations Alliance and local volunteer groups to support Pikangikum evacuees.
Nesbitt adds they are currently in communication with Red Lake municipal leadership and are standing by should they require additional support in their community or other support should an evacuation order be issued.
He stresses they will always strive to help their neighbours when in need.
