Due to local forest fires, some of the region’s COVID-19 vaccination clinics have been impacted.
The Northwestern Health Unit says Red Lake’s July 14 and 15 clinics are postponed due to potential evacuation.
All appointments will be moved to a new date to be announced.
Residents do not need to reschedule their appointment and if you’re able to get vaccinated while away from home, the health unit encourages you to do so.
As for Sioux Lookout clinics, July 14 and 22 clinics are still a go with a new location.
Residents with appointments will now go to Sacred Heart School to get their vaccine.
