One man remains in hospital with possible life-threatening injuries after a crash on Highway 105 Thursday.
Red Lake’s Volunteer Fire Department and Northwest Emergency Medical Services attended the scene and transported a second male driver to hospital who was later released with minor injuries.
Around 4:52 a.m., Red Lake and Ear Falls Provincial Police were called to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 105 about 6 kilometres south of Red Lake.
OPP say a northbound vehicle collided with a southbound pick-up truck near Wrights Road.
The Traffic Incident Management Enforcement Team and Technical Collision Investigation Officers were also called to assist in the investigation.
The highway was closed for much of the day and fully reopened at 4:00 p.m.
Police say this investigation is still on-going.
