Enbridge Gas is expanding its footprint in the City of Dryden.
Nicole Lehto is Manager of Operations for the Northwest Area of the Northern Region and says they are planning to build a new Operations Centre on Heather Drive.
Lehto says they are looking at a 10,000 square foot facility on a two acre parcel of land.
She says the state-of-art building will contain open office space, welding shop, warehouse and a larger yard.
The operations centre will comfortably host 10 occupants but will allow for additional workers depending on future needs.
Lehto says the current facility and yard is just too small for their operations and business needs.
She hopes to begin construction this year with staff moving from the existing Kennedy Road building at some point in 2022.
Lehto adds, “We’re really excited about this project and we’re happy to support the Dryden community and add a bright new facility to the suite of offerings there.”
The City of Dryden has approved the site plan agreement.
