Free Fishing Week opens today (Saturday) and lasts until July 11.
Residents and families won’t need a license or an Outdoors Card but must follow all COVID health guidelines.
You must also abide by conservation rules and regulations, catch limits and size limits and sanctuaries.
Minister of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry Greg Rickford says fishing is a time-honoured tradition and terrific way for families to spend time together.
The Kenora-Rainy River MPP says, “I hope everyone in Ontario is able to head down to a lake or river and take part in Free Fishing Week, this year.”
