One dollar has turned into a lot more for a Kenora man.
Timothy Skead said “yes” to ENCORE and it payed off as he matched the last six of seven numbers in exact order in the May 21 LOTTO MAX draw to win $100,000.
Skead says, “I like to play LOTTO MAX and LOTTO 6/49 when the jackpot gets big.”
The father of three checked his ticket using the OLG Lottery App.
“I checked it three times just to make sure! I just kept saying to myself no way!”, says Skead.
He says he called his wife to tell her they’re debt free, calling it an awesome feeling.
Skead says he plans to purchase a new vehicle, plan a trip and share his win with his children.
The winning ticket was purchased at Canadian Tire Gas Bar on Highway 17 in Kenora.
