The Nuclear Waste Management Organization is revamping its website and is looking for your input.
A public survey has been launched and you have until Tuesday, July 6 to provide feedback.
The agency says they want to make sure they develop a website that provides community members with the information they want and need to better understand Canada’s plan for used nuclear fuel and its implementation.
They want to ensure the site is engaging and accessible, across different devices and digital platforms.
The NWMO says input and changes will better serve the general public, communities in potential siting areas, including Ignace, Indigenous peoples, public officials, the media, the nuclear and energy sectors, and more.
The survey includes a section on thoughts on what would help make the redesigned website a success.
The agency says their website is an important way to communicate with the public, communities and industry partners and state they want to make sure it is modern and reflective of evolving times.
The survey is being conducted by an independent firm.
