Provincial Police in Sioux Lookout will be out patrolling local roads this summer to ensure everyone is following the rules.
Officers note the warmer weather has brought some unsafe driving behaviours back to local roadways.
A reminder the posted speed limit is 50 km/hr. on Drayton Road, Sturgeon River Road, Sturgeon Meadows Road, and Abram Lake Road.
Highways 72, 516, 642, and 664 have limits of 80 km/hr.
The public is encouraged to contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122 whenever they observe a driver operating a motor vehicle in a dangerous manner.
