While calls for service stayed about the same, charges laid were up according to the Dryden Police Service’s weekly update.
Officers responded to 190 calls for service and 33 charges were laid under the Highway Traffic Act, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, and Criminal Code.
From June 14 to 20 some of the calls Dryden Police attended include:
- Property Cime-8
- Crime against Person-11
- Police Assist/Assist Public-28
- Mental Health Act-16
- Liquor Licence Act-14
- Traffic Complaints/Enforcement/MVC-14
- Foot Patrol/Property checks-13
- Suspicious Person-12
- Other-75
Liquor License Act and Traffic Complaints/Enforcement/MVC saw a small increase in calls compared to the week before, while other call categories stayed relatively the same
In their previous report, DPS responded to 191 calls for service and laid 14 charges.
