The OPP was called to a house just outside of Belleville last night after receiving three reports of a vehicle with the matching license plate.
During the standing off, shots were fired at OPP officers, but after protracted negotiations, officers were able to safely arrest Wildman and another man in the house.
No injuries were reported.
This ends a manhunt that began 11 days ago with the suspicious death of 40-year-old Clifford Joseph.
Initially, the RCMP have charged Wildman with Unsafe Transportation of a Firearm and Possession of a Prohibited Device without a license.
More charges are expected.
