To celebrate Father’s Day weekend and Ontario families, Ontario is offering licence-free fishing and free day-use at Provincial Parks.
Families can enjoy the open water Saturday (June 19) and Sunday (June 20) without having to purchase a fishing licence or carry an Outdoors Card.
While it is free, you’re still asked to keep catching and size limits and all other fishing regulations in mind.
Free day-use permits are available at Ontario Parks Sunday (June 20), including at Aaron Park.
Families that take part are reminded that under step one of the Roadmap to Reopen, outdoor gatherings are permitted up to 10 people.
