Quick work and response by Dryden Fire Service prevented a fire in the Hillcrest area from spreading further.
In a DFS Facebook post DFS says firefighters responded to the area about a structure fire at 9:06 this morning.
When crews arrived at 9:15am they encountered heavy fire conditions but firefighters were able to quickly knock down the flames.
There is no word on the cause of the fire at this time.
