A huge honour for one of Dryden’s finest.
Hockey Northwestern Ontario has announced Shannon Hutchison is the winner of the Volunteer of the Year Award for the 2020/2021 season.
Hutchison is President of Dryden Minor Hockey Association and has dedicated and invested countless hours into being an advocate and respectful spokesperson for players, coaches and volunteers.
She led the local program through a pandemic season, ensuring safety came first for everyone.
HNO calls Hutchison a dedicated leader and role model for everyone in Dryden and Hockey Northwestern Ontario.
The regional governing body adds, “Shannon always finds time to fulfill her duties as President, while also juggling a full time job and taking care of three kids who play hockey most nights. Despite being so busy, she never neglects here responsibilities as President, and is a perfect leader for the Dryden Minor Hockey Association.”
