Officers with the Dryden Police Service had another busy week responding to calls.
In their weekly calls for service update, DPS responded to 191 calls for service and laid 14 charges under the Highway Traffic Act, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, and Criminal Code from June 7 to 13.
Some of the calls Dryden Police attended include:
- Property Crime – 12
- Crime against Person – 10
- Police Assist/Assist Public – 34
- Mental Health Act – 16
- Liquor Licence Act – 7
- Traffic Complaints/Enforcement/MVC – 8
- Foot Patrol/Property checks – 14
- Suspicious Person – 13
- Other – 77
Property crimes and calls for police assistance both went up by seven in the latest report and most other call categories stayed relatively the same, with the exception of the newly added category of suspicious person.
The week before police responded to 206 calls and laid 10 charges in total.
