Good news for anyone waiting to get their drivers licence.
Ontario has resumed in-vehicle passenger road tests at all DriveTest centres.
There is a backlog of road tests as a result of COVID restrictions so the province is hiring 167 additional driver examiners.
It’s not known how many will be allocated to northwestern Ontario.
Hours for road tests are also being extended.
Face masks will be required in the vehicle.
